Our Philosophy

behavioral issues can be traced back to Trauma, most of which happened in childhood but also could have occurred later in life.  Abnormal behavior stems from the body’s defensive coping mechanisms for dealing with Trauma at the time of the traumatic event. This behavior then becomes “stuck” in one’s brain and becomes the predominant reaction if the Trauma has not been processed.  Examples of these behaviors include Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Personality-Disorders, and Addictions.

we utilize scientifically proven therapies including Trauma Informed Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Neurofeedback, and Medication Management in order to process one’s Trauma, which can facilitate behavioral changes and allow one to have healthier, happier behaviors.
